(Fuerth/Monaco) There used to be three colours - today there are twelve. More in planning. On the occasion of the trade fair LuxePack 2011, Wickels Papierveredelungs-Werke Buntpapierfabrik GmbH, Fuerth, Germany, produces "Bellissimo", a paper series that is steeped in tradition.

Once upon a time more than a decade ago, the impressive pearlescent paper series known as "New Pearl" was launched - now it has been redesigned completely with new colours and attractive embossments and is being presented in a new sample book.

As of now, the sample book "Bellissimo 2012" features twelve trendy and classic colours.  The launch of the collection is to coincide with the October 2011 LuxePack trade fair in Monaco.

The attractive pearlescent paper weighs 90 g/sqm. It comes with a large variety of embossments, is suitable for hot foil stamping, and can be used as cover paper for cardboard packaging, books, cases, as well as for present wrapping. According to sales manager Ralph Schlotter, the shimmering, high-quality material possesses an 'excellent firmness'.

If it is embossed, it is also particularly suitable as wrapping paper, 'as the embossment makes it even smoother to the touch'. "Bellissimo 2012" is already available at Wickels on request.
