(Fürth). Dr. Marcus Vogler (49) was appointed CEO of Wickels Papierveredelungs-Werke Buntpapierfabrik GmbH, Fürth in June 2009.

The Doctor of Business Management has been managing the fortunes of the long-standing paper finishing company.

Together with the sole owner of Wickels – Dagmar Fischer-Tscheike – the born in Rastatt family man and amateur sportsman has been successful in implementing his strategy “to lead the company into the future in the present difficult market environment”.

Vogler completed his doctorate at the University of Stuttgart which dealt with the subject of “family-run enterprises” and came to Franconia after having worked at Robert Bosch GmbH (Reutlingen), IVM GmbH & Co. Ltd. Partnership (Munich), Bertrandt AG (Ehingen) and lastly as commercial director of Rebhan GmbH & Co. KG (Stockheim/Ofr.).

He plans to manage Wickels’ operations in the wake of an orderly company transfer and a generation change.
