Madrid Energy Storage Integration Project

MADRID, November 21, 2025 – In a landmark agreement that signals the acceleration of Europe’s energy transition, Envision Energy, a global leader in green technology from China, and GES (Global Energy Services), Spain’s leading renewable energy engineering and service solutions provider, have signed a strategic Framework Agreement to advance the large-scale deployment of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Wind Turbine Generators (WTG) across Spain and Europe. Grid-side independent energy storage project

This project marks the first 220kV voltage level new energy storage power station in Foshan Power Grid, with a construction scale of 208MW/416MWh. 9 sets of Zhiguang Electric's independently developed and technically leading High-Voltage Cascade Direct-Mounted Energy Storage Systems will be deployed, configured with full liquid-cooling technology, and the whole energy storage power station adopts Zhiguang Electric's “5S” full-stack technology to realize the whole life cycle management, monitoring and control of the energy storage system.After the project is completed and put into operation, it will provide auxiliary services such as frequency regulation and peak shifting for the power grid, effectively enhance the power supply reliability of the Foshan regional power system, promote new energy consumption, and play an important role in promoting the development of Guangdong's new electric power system, and the project is expected to be completed and put into operation in June 2025. Oman Grid Energy Storage Project

On November 25, 2025, a joint venture consisting of China Energy Engineering Corporation International, East China Institute, and Hunan Thermal Power, in collaboration with Masdar OQ、 International energy companies such as Central Korea Power Generation have jointly signed the EPC contract for the Oman Iburi Phase III 700MW photovoltaic+150MWh energy storage power station project.
