June 5, 2025 | Manila, Philippines – The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) announced a grant agreement to establish Enhancing Access to Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) for Low-carbon Economies (ENABLE), a platform dedicated to accelerating battery storage deployment across the Asia and Pacific region by pooling and concentrating the human and financial resources to fast-track BESS projects, together with other similar-minded development partners.
