Ulaanbaatar Energy Storage Construction Project
The construction of a 50 MW/200 MWh Battery Storage Power Station on a 5-hectare area built upon the “Baganuur” substation in the Baganuur district of Ulaanbaatar is progressing successfully.On October 5, 2024, Prime Minister of Mongolia Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsrai visited the Battery Storage Power Station, a project implemented by the Governor’s Office of Ulaanbaatar as part of the Government of Mongolia’s energy reform. Compared with the traditional site construction model, the integrated base station platform has the advantages of high integration, compact structure, light weight, high strength, large load bearing, small footprint, short construction period and high cost performance, providing a new solution for updating existing base stations and building new 3G base stations .
